[SOLVED] High gpu temps, but I do not know what's causing them...

No problem. Used to own a 290x. That thing would not go lower than 85 degrees lmao. Unless you put the fans spinning at 100% but then it sounded like my pc was trying to take off.

    [SOLVED] Upgrading GPU

A 6700xt/6800 would be quite the decent upgrade if you wanna stay amd. If you wanna go for nvidia the 3060 is your best bet. Avoid the 3070 because buying a 8gb card in 2021 is IMO (so don't get offended if some of you bought a 3070) stupid unless you plan to keep playing at 1080p till the next...

[SOLVED] High gpu temps, but I do not know what's causing them...

Those temps are fine on those cards. 280 and 290 series are as bad as vega64 ones, they're pretty much heaters. You could try to undervolt using the adrenalin software to shave off some degrees but im telling you, 80/82 degrees are completely fine on those cards.

[SOLVED] Powercolor RX 6600xt performance issues

The green wd should only be used as storage, not as an applications running hd. Especially games. It's really not suited for it. Im pretty sure that's the culprit. I would honestly switch it with a 3.5 inches ssd sata. They're so cheap nowadays anyways.

[SOLVED] Want to upgrade my gpu ?

I personally wouldn't get a 3080 for 4k gaming. 10 gb vram won't cut it for long in that resolution. Either look into the ti version (which has 12gb of vram) or if you wanna stay amd get a 6800xt (that has 16). High refresh rate at 4k is out of the question anyways (atleast on non competitive...

[SOLVED] What do you think about AMD 6900XT

keep the 2080 ti. It's still an awesome card. Save money and invest in the next generation which is rumored to be pretty crazy.

[SOLVED] How much vRAM do i actually need in 2021?

1080 8gb (4gb bare min) 1440 10gb (i would argue 12 in the upcoming years, especially since you'd be spending atleast 1.2k eu/$ for a 10gb vram gpu and i don't see you dropping another in 2/3 years) and 8gb bare min 4k 16gb (there's no point in bare min here as there's not really a card that...

[SOLVED] 5700 xt sapphire pulse fans randomly idle up to ungodly loud level.

Just remove the 0 rpm fan mode and have the fans spin at all times. Also big yikes thinking 1000 rpm is ungodly loud lmao. You have to click on the grey button on the right to "fan tuning" and turning off the 0 rpm mode.

    [SOLVED] I'M AT A CROSS ROADS. FSR/DLSS 2.0 4K GAMING?

Yeah if you're planning to 4k gaming you'd def benefit from the 12 gb of vram the ti version offers in the long run opposed to the 10 of the "vanilla" 3080. And since you'd be dropping 1.5k on a graphic's card i don't think you'd wanna upgrade it in like 2 years, right?

Question my gpu temp rises in sec

2xx and 3xx serie cards are known for running in the 80s. It's completely normal. I have a 290x in my backup rip and it reached 85 degrees unless undervolted. You should try to undervolt as it's very easy using the adrenalin software. EDIT that's WAY too much paste. It's pretty much smeared all...

[SOLVED] Laptop with AMD RADEON R3

no you can't add vram. you could add dram which is system ram. vram is integrated in the graphics card/apu, and there is no way to change that value. As per games you could play i don't think you can go further than league of legends/dota/pubg/fortnite kind of games all set on low as that is a...

[SOLVED] Do all PSUs have protection?

Depends on the quality. Not all psu are created equal. The cheaper you go, chances are they had to cut corners, and in psu world is mostly with ripple suppression filtering system, poor capacitors quality and lack of protections (most notably ocp).

If you're having the same issue on a completely different rig, im afraid to say that it is indeed the card.

[SOLVED] Asus ROG RX 5700 XT 100° Hotspot... Is this normal?

Undervolt my friend. For the 5700xt is absolutely necessary. 1.2v it's an absurd amount for a gpu. View: https://youtu.be/fN3n63laxEA Also, if you want to rule out the well known fact asus f*d up both cards (tuf and rog) for the 5700xt serie (just go watch hardware unboxed vid about it) by...
