Question "A TCG Command has returned an error"

That would make sense - but why would that affect another drive and not itself? Neither my mechnical HDD or the encrypted Mx300 itself suffer from any crashes. It's only the SanDisk SSD (which is not encrypted) which is having issues. Do you think erasing and reverting the Mx300 (remember...

Question "A TCG Command has returned an error"

My M.2 boot (C) drive: My 1TB HHD: EDIT: Interestingly, my boot drive (SSD) seems to have some form of encryption enabled: TCG is also the cause of my error - I wonder if these two are related?

[SOLVED] Low Gaming Performance or is this about right?

The whole point of the benchmark is to determine if the system is running as it should. If we can first determine that it IS running slower than it should, then we can troubleshoot the cause. Your score is decent for a 1080 - could easily be better if overclocked, though. As others suggested...

[SOLVED] Low Gaming Performance or is this about right?

As @Oussebon suggested, download 3DMark and run the Firestrike benchmark and post your results here - it'll give you a graphics + physics score (GPU/CPU respectively) and an overall score. You can then compare these to other scores with the same components to determine if your system is under...

[SOLVED] GTX 1080 or RTX 2080 SUPER for 1080p 144Hz gaming?

Hey guys, wanted to get a few opinions here. I am currently running a GTX 1080 on a 144hz 1080p system. I've had it for a few years now and I've not experienced any problems, but at max settings it fails to hit 144 fps on some games. Would you recommend upgrading to the RTX 2080? Or would you...

[SOLVED] Dead CPU or dead motherboard?

All good, it was neither. I bought a new CPU and motherboard since I needed an upgrade and it still didn't work. Turns out one of the RAM sticks was faulty, which was surprising as the speaker didn't beep at all to suggest it was the RAM. Thanks anyway.

[SOLVED] Dead CPU or dead motherboard?

Hi guys, So recently, I had an issue where my PC would boot up, begin loading the OS and then reboot suddenly. I did a lot of testing and eventually concluded it was the PSU as I plugged it into another machine and had the same issue. However, after an hour of testing (so quite a few reboots)...

Using Sellotape on CPU Liquid Cooler?

Hi folks, So I recently bought an h115i liquid cooler for my CPU, installed it and it's working fine, temps are nice and cool. But I'm paranoid one day, the fittings between the hose (the thing that carries the water to the CPU waterblock from the radiator and vice versa) and the CPU...
