Will my PSU be damage if I plug the ATX plug the wrong way?

@bignastyid I tried replugging it again but it still won't boot up : / or maybe my mobo is dead in the first place @computernugget Lol reminds me of the time when I was in Asia and forgot to change the PSU's input conversion to 220v, had a nice mini fireworks show blowing up from the inside of...

Will my PSU be damage if I plug the ATX plug the wrong way?

For some reason it fitted in without any resistance, my computer case was small and dark to see and I ended up plugging in one of the ATX cords only half of it in with the other half sticking out. Would you recommend buying another PSU just to be safe? Many thanks.

Sorry I forgot to mention the reason why I was holding down the power button was b/c after my computer crashed and rebooted the monitor display won't work. I wasn't sure what to do so I press and hold onto the power button until it shuts down.

Will my PC be ok if I shut down or rebooted by holding down the power button?

It's not the "turning off" the computer that I'm worried about, but holding the power button for like 20 secs, when the computer finishes shutting down, and still continue to hold onto the button, and for some reason it reboots up, while in the booting phase it reboots again, and then I finally...
