Well, no help from Absolute, no help from Envision. I was able to return the board for a full refund and bought a different one. It should be arriving tomorrow. I'll update once I reassemble the computer.

Oh boy. That could be quite a loss. I ordered a new motherboard for said laptop so we'll find out. Worst case scenario I'll have to get a new ssd too.
