To get the 4.5 out of the CPU I only adjusted the multiplier. I tried starting with XMP off and only setting the frequency from default 1333 to 2400 and to 2000, did not work. I tried to implement the XMP settings (frequency and CL timings), but with XMP off, did not work.

I have a fairly good system which includes an MSi Mpower Z87, an Intel 4770K and 2x8 GB of Corsair Dominator Platinum 2400 MHz. My problem is that I can't get the RAM to list as running at 2400 MHz.. Not even the 1200 MHz you'd expect from a dual-channel setup. I've enabled the XMP profile...
