UPDATE : changing just the OS didn't solve the problem. Wiped everything from the C Drive but the 'Doubling' problem still exists. Will it work if i buy a new internal SSD and shift the files to it and Wipe out all those files in old one?

Think It's my bad luck. My External HDD fell down just a week back. I'll just wipe out the C drive and install a new OS for now. That unallocated space was kept for emergency purposes. I did the wrong thing by not allocating more space for C drive. Anyway, Thanks to you both.
