I ran ccleaner a couple of weeks ago and it didn't make a difference either. The only thing that really is slooooow is doing a (save as) or an (attachment). Can take up to a minute or so and I get a not responding error that eventually goes through.

I shut down all the start up processes and it didn't make a difference. I'm only running Windows defender. No third party antivirus.

Chrome is up to date. The strange thing is it keeps bouncing back and forth between how much cpu time it uses. Chrome was 84% a few moments ago. Now 66%, 46%, 25%, 49%, 58% etc. When chrome goes down Task Manager application goes up. When chrome was 29% Task Manager was 51%. Thunderbird is...

Yes on the hub. Shut down apps. System is up to date. Chrome says (31). I only have 3 tabs open. Task manager is still bouncing between 50% for chrome and 50% for task manager application under processes.

I have ordered a new power supply since it's about 5 years old but does show that all voltages are correct. That's the easiest place to start I think. Thanks for all the help so far.

ran eset no malware or change in performance. Still getting not responding errors for 15-45 sec before goes through. Only happens doing attachments or saving files. Ran Hwinfo64 and all voltages are correct from power supply.
