    Asrock Z170 pro4s Crossfire

Hi all, I have a z170 pro4s and i'm willing to make a CF of RX 480 once they'll become available. My mobo has 2 pci-e 16x but on the manual there is written that the first is 16x and the 2nd 4x. I guess that the second gpu will work at 4x, but how come? the pci-e should receive the 16 lanes...

    Need a gaming GPU

before buying the i5-6600 doesn't really need a z170 board, just get a gigabyte h170 d3hp. Wait 1 month, for 350$ you will get a better one like gtx 980 or sapphire r9 fury, just wait for the prices adjustment after nvidia and amd release on the market their new products

Can I upgrade to a r9 390 on this pc?

evga g2/gs/gq, xfx ts/xtr, corsair rmx, corsair rmi, antec edge, seasonic g, superflower leadex gold 650w and you will have no worries at all

For gaming: i7 6700K or i7 5820K? and which motherboard do I get?

for gaming i7-6700k is much better than i7-5820k (doesn't matter this last one has got more cores, no games are able to use perfectly 4). as per Mobo i suggest asrock z170 extreme 6, right price for more than needed features

    R9 Fury x vs crossfire R9 390x

worst idea ever, instead than spending money for 2 gpus that are going to lose half their value in next 2 months cause of the launch of the new generation, sell your rig and buy a new one if you want to make good use of your money. Amd is way obsolete now

i7 and GPU help for my new build for 3DSMAX

There is no point to get a 3th or a 4th generation cpu when the 6th is out from last august 2015. No point to get an Haswell-E too since the new Broadwell- E are out in few months. The current generation is called Skylake and requires mobo with socket lga1151 and chipset H170 for non-k cpu...

Honestly I'd say no To ssd if I had to stay in the 600£ cause you can always buy it after, but in the meanwhile you can have a pc without renouncing to anything important Just buy the product key for the OS he can save 10£ for the xfx TS550 PCPartPicker part list...

hi guys, im wanting to build a gaming PC for around £600 and was wanderin what you thought would get me the bust bang for buck

the 2nd one could be good if he is able to overclock via BCLK, feature that ASROCK removed from its board. I'd reather have a i5-6500 a h170 board and smaller gpu card (since the new generation will be launched soon) than an i3 and a z170 card. The stuff which have to last longer are...

agree on the performance between the 2 rams but since they cost 10$. r9 is definitely better than 980.
