Can i install windows on a usb boot it up and use my old hard drive as the main storage?

Would I need to install Windows 10 on the hard drive first or can I install Windows 10 on a Usb drive then install windows 10 to the pc and plop the hard drive in

Old hdd has Windows Xp wanting to delete it completely to install Windows 10 on that. How would I be able to do that? This drive will be used as the main hard drive.

I also added exceptions in my gateway and firewall. Nothing seems to be working.

I was playing on a minecraft server, got kicked due to time out and now im unable to log back on with that error. Im able to join other servers aswell. I know 100% that the server is on atm.

Only for LoL. I live in Canada so its pretty pricey here :) Anything really works im probably gonna buy an Asus monitor with this. Im fine with windows 7 and 8 aswell.
