Thanks….yeah there are diodes (4 big looking ones) that appear to do the conversion to dc, having looked at how to wire up that sort of setup from components. So if it was running +ve and -ve 12v before the diodes, you think I should be picking up 24v on my multimeter immediately after them. So...
