When I try to boot, I just get a "Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device". How do I fix this. I have an i5 and a biostar h61 board. The hdd is a 1t black western digital.

I didn't think Evga is a bad manufacturer just try to avoid brand that have burned me but I see your point.

I bought an evga power supply and I think destroyed my motherboard. So, I would prefer to avoid that brand but ill read reviews. Any suggestion on motherboards and ill check that case out. Ty for the your suggestion so far.
