This cheap PC build any good?

I recommend getting the MSI 660 gtx twinfrozr in ebuyer, it's cheaper with a better cooling system and with higher oc from factory, it's this one : http://www.ebuyer.com/479929-msi-gtx-660-2gb-gddr5-6008mhz-dvi-hdmi-displayport-pci-e-graphics-card-n660tf2gd5-oc Now if you want the FX-6300 or...

First build need advice for Gaming/streaming/editing

That motherboard is overpriced and the thermal armor is just marketing, with that kind of budget, i would get a 256GB SSD and a better gfx card. Here's my suggestion : PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks CPU: Intel Core i7-3770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor...

    Building A Computer for $500?

This goes a bit over 500$, but with the os and all the stuff needed to be operational, the cpu is decent and it won't bottleneck the gfx card, the card is pretty good for the price. Here's the list : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/OCd5 I'm assuming that this is the dollar currency and not the...

Is building a custom gaming rig worth it???

It will support any gfx card, it has a pcie 3.0 16x slot, the case has vga clearance for it, so don't worry.

Is building a custom gaming rig worth it???

It's not more fragile, actually the h77 pro 4 mvp got a rather thin pcb and it's not the size of a standard atx, it's a bit smaller, like the z77 extreme 4. But if you need the four dimm slots, buy the pro 4 mvp.

Is building a custom gaming rig worth it???

The only reason to get the h77 pro 4 mvp is for the 4 dimm slots(if you plan to add more ram), other than that, i see no point, unless you plan to add four ssds, you don't need the additional two sata III ports, the h77 pro 4 mvp doesn't support SLI or proper crossfire and the aesthetic is...

Is building a custom gaming rig worth it???

I'd stick with the bitfenix merc alpha, in my opinion a better case for the money, for the price of the zalman, you can get the Corsair 200 or 300R, which is better. The motherboard doesn't enter in the equation of the size of the card, but if the case is spacious itself to fit the card, either...

Is building a custom gaming rig worth it???

I was talking about the ASUS P8Z77-V LX listed, which doesn't support SLI and for Crossfire it operates at 16x/4x.

Is building a custom gaming rig worth it???

It means Intel Extreme Memory Profile, you load it in the bios with the values set by the vendor of that specific ram(you can set others too), more info here : http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/gaming/gaming-computers/intel-extreme-memory-profile-xmp.html The 7870 XT has a better...

    $1200 Green/Black Gaming PC Build

I recommend getting the hyper 212 evo over that aio water cooler, you'll get better performance with the hyper 212 evo, less noise and it's cheaper, also there's no risks of leaks. Yes, i know, once you're set with a certain case, it's difficult to change it, the nzxt phantom 410 is a good...

Is building a custom gaming rig worth it???

That's a b75 motherboard with a poor value, i'd get the h77, it has more features for less, either way, you'll have to set the xmp profile(or manually) in either boards(or others) for 1866, or even at 1600 mhz(there's a good chance to default at 1600 mhz, board not relevant, you might need to...

Is building a custom gaming rig worth it???

Nope, if you want to oc the ram, you can try the xmp profile to the 1866 mhz speed or the just stay with the default 1600 mhz.

    $1200 Green/Black Gaming PC Build

This goes a bit over 1200$, but it has an aftermarket cpu cooler, which is needed if you want to overclock properly the cpu, the hyper 212 evo is a efficient one. The samsung 840(non pro) 120GB is not a good buy, it has tlc nand and it's a slower ssd with less endurance in comparison with other...
