I'm in your same shoes. It's supposedly going to have equal performance to a 980(according to AMD), which would be a sizable upgrade. Like turkey said though - waiting is the best thing to do at this moment.

Yup, that is perfectly fine within the windows environment. What happens is the drivers see that you don't have any 3D applications open, so it puts the second GPU in hibernation. The only time you should worry about your GPU lowering its clock speed or voltages is in a game.

I was wondering if it's possible. I've heard that nvidia is finicky with SLIing cards with varying memory sizes. Are they also finicky about clock speeds? I could always just clock down the AMP model.

I bet people will buy BF hardline just for mantle. I guess it's no different than PhysX though.

4gb of memory? That's a lot. I wonder if they have plans to port other PC games to android. If they do, they would have something very unique and popular device.

760 is the highest tier nvidia card you used for 1080?

I want one of these, but i don't think my 650W psu could handle it.
