    Correct. I bought it off Facebook Marketplace. Any idea what the problem might be? Based on the description, does it sound like the CPU? Bad RAM? Something else bad in the pipeline?

    Yes. I've done all Windows updates, installed all drivers via Windows update, and installed all remaining drivers thru HP Support Assistant (possibly except for one I/O driver that may or may not actually be updating properly).
