The Con on the 2.5" "Similar performance as the 850 EVO" is kind of a mute point since SATA 3 bandwidth is maxed by most SSD drives in the last 3-4 years.

Why are there no Kingston on the list? I find it is the most stable and is compatible with every motherboard manufacturer.

Thank you for pointing me in this direction, one thing to note is that you do not actually loose speed when you disable the xCHI and ECHI hand-off. This is used for OS's that do not have the capability on their own such as XP or older.

Everyone seems upset about no backward compatibility, but we never had that with the Nintendo->SuperNES->Nintendo 64->Gamecube. So stop whining and realize if you want a new system then it needs to be different enough to be an upgrade. The other alternative is to go into the PC gaming world...
