I know its not impossible, but like can i try without any harm just in case. Just because i dont have an older CPU so i'd have to go to a computer shop or something where they would probably charge something stupid. Motherboard is MSI X470 Gaming Plus Max

I know theoretically it probably wont work out the box, but my motherboard doesnt have flashback, so is it safe to try and put the 5600g in just in case the bios was updated out of the box, because im pretty sure I bought after January 2021 when support got added to X470
