I am planning to have no VGA for a while on my new PC, so should I pic dual channel? (core i5 4570) I picked a really cheap mobo, that only has 2 slots. I want 8 gig now, but maybe later I'll have to buy another 8.

Does it matter? How fast is dual channel compared to single?

Just bought a used Audigy 2, PCI, but I can't see it in the device manager. Win7 ultimate 64 bit. My motherboard is Gigabyte GA-MA74GM-S2 rev1. Is it dead?

I found mobos with H81 chipset around 50$, are they made from lower quality components? I am satisfied with the features of them, so I'm thinking stick with a cheaper one. (dont wanna OC, no need more than 2 slots of memory, nor SLI)
