    Help with graphics card?

    Yesterday I got the AMD club3D (Cant remember rest) and i put it in. My monitor only supports VGA cable but the graphics card needs DVI or HDMI.I bought a DVI to VGA adaptor and i plugged everything in, and the screen did not connect.do i need to get the driver before connecting the graphics...
