I've looked in many places on the internet but none of them really cover the software side of what to do before replacing a motherboard. At least not in any comprehensive detail that I have found. I am perfectly capable of swapping a motherboard on the hardware side of things but not so savvy...

nevermind, I figured it out :)

I have an ASrock Z87 Pro 4 and had some issues with it, so i need to put the pin guard on it to keep it safe for now, but I can't get the pin guard back on, I've lined up the triangles... I feel stupid but it just won't go on, I've tried for about 10 minutes now..... help please?

I replaced the MOBO CPU and PSU, I've installed the mobo drivers but my computer still crashes on startup when displaying the windows logo, and startup repair is doing no good. please help I'm completely stumped.

I replaced the MOBO, CPU and PSU in my system and now it crashes on start up when displaying the windows 7 logo. Startup repair is no help. I would really appreciate some help ASAP thanks.
