My suggestion is 1. buy a 1 TB SSD and put it in an external enclosure or any of the devices on sale that will connect the SATA drive to the machine via USB. Clone your C: drive to it. Make sure that your cloning software will make the drive active and bootable. The free EASUS will do this...
