I think a lot of people did with AM4, but the X3D parts had almost everything to do with that and it's not very likely that we're gonna see a similar situation again.

What are you basing that on? AM4's history? AMD's claim of AM5 support until 2027? Neither of those guarantee that any further generations will use AM5.

:rolleyes: You will not see the difference between these cards anywhere but very small numbers in benchmarks. Can you see the difference in a game between say, 147 fps and 152? No, you cannot. Buy whichever one looks prettiest to you.

I disagree. Just looking at this thread on one of the most popular PC tech forums on the internet shows that it needs to be broadcast far & wide that UB is <Mod Edit> junk because many many people, including those who should probably know better, don't seem to get it.

Have you played games lately? Have you played games lately at 4K Ultra and wanted to do so at higher framerates like 120/144?

I've used about 3GB per hour today. That said, probably about half of my flying has been out of my home airport and in the surrounding area, so a lot of the terrain I've flown over today has likely only been downloaded once and remained in cache.

What did your motherboard's owner's manual say when you looked at the section about the test lights?

While this may be technically true, the article headline is stupid for a processor that's now just barely two months old.

Perhaps your rig isn't as tuned as you claim it is.
