Question Surface Pen diagonal jitter on Surface Pro 9... but not Pro 6?

I've been trying to research the drivers because I had a similar thought, but it seems pretty tough to track down individual ones. Both devices are fully updated, so the latest drivers on the 6 don't do this, but it's true that that could mean different things for each of them if they have...

Question Surface Pen diagonal jitter on Surface Pro 9... but not Pro 6?

Hoping some of the knowledgeable folks on here might have some insights on this. So I just upgraded from a Pro 6 which I've had for three years to a Pro 9, reason being the jump in graphics processing. Everything was going great until I touched my stylus to it and immediately noticed a jitter...

Question What causes an ethernet connection to both flicker and block cloud services? (Possible DNS or LAN issue???)

After all this time, it 's finally solved! I appreciate the help.

Question What causes an ethernet connection to both flicker and block cloud services? (Possible DNS or LAN issue???)

Understandable, and that principle just proved itself. I had tried uninstalling and reinstalling the network adapter drivers, but I hadn't tried disabling them. I disabled the ethernet adapter and found that my wireless speeds jumped up; I tried disabling the wireless adapter and the ethernet...

Question What causes an ethernet connection to both flicker and block cloud services? (Possible DNS or LAN issue???)

If memory serves, it started out disabled; I tried switching it on as part of my "try everything" stage of desperation. Disabling it again didn't do anything.

Question What causes an ethernet connection to both flicker and block cloud services? (Possible DNS or LAN issue???)

Router is a Verizon G3100, with an E3200 as a repeater. EDIT: I didn't answer one your adapter questions: Device Manager shows Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3168, Intel(R) I211 Gigabit Network Connection, and Marvell AQtion 10Gbit Network Adapter. ipconfig /all results: Windows IP...

Question What causes an ethernet connection to both flicker and block cloud services? (Possible DNS or LAN issue???)

Not sure which parts of it are actually important and figured it would be clearer in that format that stuffed in here, but fair enough; appended some to the OP. I recently had a technician come out to deal with the wifi acting up, and he tested our connection to the building's infrastructure...

Question What causes an ethernet connection to both flicker and block cloud services? (Possible DNS or LAN issue???)

This is going to be a long one, but only because there's a laundry list of symptoms and attempted fixes to go over. A while back I made this post. The short version of it is that when my desktop is hooked up to an ethernet connection, it will be fast (it's even faster now that I use a direct...

    Question X470 Taichi Ultimate with R5 2600 won't post: error code 'b0' or '60'

Aaaaaaand that didn't work either. Pretty sure at this point that the board itself is the problem. I'm sending it back and getting a damn ASUS.

    Question X470 Taichi Ultimate with R5 2600 won't post: error code 'b0' or '60'

Sorry, I should have listed the things I've tried in better detail: -CMOS reset button -CMOS physical battery removal -reseating all power cables and data cables -RAM sticks in A1 B1 and A2 B2 -removing one RAM stick and reseating a single stick in each of the four slots, then switching sticks...

    Question X470 Taichi Ultimate with R5 2600 won't post: error code 'b0' or '60'

I should update that I've now realized that the board I have is actually updated to handle 3rd-gen CPUs so I placed my 3600 in the socket and it removed the debug code, while still doing the boot loop as described.

    Question X470 Taichi Ultimate with R5 2600 won't post: error code 'b0' or '60'

So after a lot of trouble, I got a setup that by all rights should be working. The setup is here: Motherboard: ASRock X470 Taichi Ultimate CPU: RYZEN 5 2600 GPU: Sapphire Radeon Pulse RX 5500 XT Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) PSU: Antec NeoECO 620W Storage: Samsung 860 QVO 1TB...

[SOLVED] New x470 Taichi Ultimate won't post

From what the person I talked to said, it's definitely related to the times; it seems they've had a huge uptick in service requests and have a backlog of machines to work on as a result. My 2600 should get here by tomorrow or Monday though, and I hear it's not that big a gap between that and...

[SOLVED] New x470 Taichi Ultimate won't post

So update, the Micro Center in my area had a 5-day wait for service and immediately tried to upcharge me. At this point I'm not even going to try to make this work. I'm returning all the CPUs and just ordering an R5 2600, which I probably should have done as soon as I figured out the problem.
