So update, the Micro Center in my area had a 5-day wait for service and immediately tried to upcharge me. At this point I'm not even going to try to make this work. I'm returning all the CPUs and just ordering an R5 2600, which I probably should have done as soon as I figured out the problem.

It seems there IS computer repair store nearby! This is a good point. I'll hold off on the purchase until I can talk to them tomorrow.
