I just posted on the same issue in the homebuilder section.... now that I've found this I'm just going to assume it's the board. I've tried everything I can think of to fix the problem and make it work... no dice. RMA it is.... what a pain... 2nd product from Asus that gave me issues. Ugh.

I saw a similar thread to this but with the issue being with the DRAM LED. I built a new PC using the Asus p8z68 deluxe/gen3 and an intel i7 2700k processor. When I go to boot, everything starts up just fine for about a second then the CPU LED comes on, everything stops running for a second...
