Bios is up to date. I was careful to install the cpu,and the pins were not bent when it came in. Since my overheating cpu isnt an issue I would think the pins are not bent.

Ok I tried that prime95 and it did give me lower temps. I changed my 4.0gz to 3.5zh and I changed the voltage from 1.3v to 1.075v. After running prime 95 on max heat for 10 minutes my temps hit 75c. Thats much better than going to 100c instantly. I will see if this helps if not, I may have to...

Hmm I guess I need to try underclocking it and turning down the voltage? My friend has the same cpu and his only goes up to 1.2v and mine goes to 1.4v so didn't know if that made a big difference or not

I just got a new i7 6700k replacement. My old one was running at 95c during a lot of games. I tried running prime 95 with the new one and all my CPU temps go to 100c immediately. I have a H100i so my temps should be no where near that I would think?
