Yes about the standoffs since I installed the evo, only some of the standoffs sit correctly in place. I can't seem to be able to sit the motherboard properly with the backplate in place.

Yes I connected the fan header, I replaced thermal paste, and yes it's snug in place. I did changed from AS5 to Cooler Master High Performace paste though.

Not all there is about an inch or so of space in between, I switch the ram stick to a2 b2.
