Ambient is about 22-23C

Damn, i guess you're right but I don't really want to have to buy low profile ram for an air cooler so i want to get a water cooler... Thanks anyways for clearing that up though.

I need a water cooler that is considerably slim and still able to perform very well. I've seen that water coolers have one bump on either side of the radiator and im looking for one where there is no bump or a VERY small one where the water tubes aren't coming out of

So I'm guessing that the Zalman is the better one in this case due to the fact that the Corsair's software is junk

I don't really want to ghetto rig any parts of my pc though...

The problem for me for the air cooling is that I don't have low profile ram and I just checked that my ram isn't compatible with the dh14 so I think I'll go with some sort of liquid cooling solution.

So would a noctua dh14 be okay because that damn thing is huge!
