I do have some RAM lying around I could swap out. It is being used in an old laptop and that never crashes. Guess that'll be my starting point and go from there. What would you guess the price is on a new MOBO? Hopefully the RAM swap works. Thanks for the idea.

I got it!!! I physically swapped out the HDD for the SSD and it's booting from it! Only problem, it takes 30 seconds to actually start loading W7, then another 25 for W7 to fully load with all startup programs. It was faster loading to get to the W7 logo on the HDD, it took half as long. Now...

I bought 2 ASUS VN247's but can't get one on 1920 x 1080 like the other. The highest the other can go to in control panel/appearance and personalization/display/screen resolution is 1680 x 1050. Can someone help me fix this please?
