It's seems the R9 in that forum is the second longest one available. Further research has shown that the R9 280X I plan on buying is small enough for the case. Thanks for the help.

I read somewhere that the R9 280Xs is 294mm, and the Z11 has room for 290mm. Has anyone tried it? Does anyone know if I can mod the case slightly to make it fit? Thanks!

I currently have an M5a97 LE R2.0 which I plan to swap out in the near future. My budget is tight, however I am wanting to overclock. My question is would the standard, non LE, M5a97 (or EVO variant) be okay for what I want to do? Or if not, what sort of motherboard is best for around the price...

Managed to get another M5A97 LE R2.0 from a friend (was trying to sell it, but sold it to me for cheap). Replaced it, and it's working as normal now. Not sure what went wrong. I will be contacting Asus as I haven't had the mobo that long to see what they will. Thanks for all the help though!

Hmmm...if all else fails I'll try replacing the BIOS chip. Is it just as simple as taking the old one out and popping the new one in?

Tried with just one HDD connected, tried with just optical drive, still nothing.
