Good to know, still very much learning the way pc parts fluctuate in price, will likely just bite the bullet on the card as £700 - £300+ from my current card for what I believe to be an 80% performance boost I think is pretty justifiable. Thanks

Thanks for the reply, I tried so much stuff last night including different HDMI even ended up getting rid of all drivers and reinstalling which didn’t work. Woke up this morning booted up the PC sound was working. SMH

Solved it, honestly don’t know how but it also seems to have solved a long standing issue where my case fans wouldn’t always spin up, it it possible for BIOS settings to go funky and need to be reset. There at default with just XMP enabled now.
