If have tested all different slots on its own and the problem still persists, I think this is just poor quality control and the consequence of buying second hand ram :s

You can run games on that, but not in 1080p... Or at least at a decent frame rate. You could do it in 1600x900 but that would probably push it, you could turn texture quality down in games to reduce the ram usage but I would suggest buying a graphics card with about 4gb VRAM, hope I've helped...

Sorry mate, I'm afraid your pc just isn't up to scratch and unfortunately none of the components are really worth keeping or selling. What I would do is save for a bit until you have about $500 and splash out on building a decent gaming rig.

Hi all, so I just ordered a generic 2gb ram stick (1333mhz) from an exchange store know as Cex.com. I already have about 4gb of ccl choice ram, which is also 1333mhz of ddr3. As soon as I turn the pc, I get big loud beeeeeeeeeeeeep coming from the pc. Any help or should I just get a return.
