    Can I use 6+2 Pin in PSU

    I just bought a 1080ti which requires 2 8 pin connectors, so I will have to use two VGA cables. I was wondering if I could plug the 6+2 end of the vga cable into the PSU instead of the 8 pin connector so I don't have ugly cables hanging out of my gpu.

    Try plugging your monitor directly into your motherboard and then try doing a bios update (might have to flash it from a USB) this happened with my friends 10 series GPU and updating the BIOS fixed it.

    It was actually because he needed a BIOS update, after we updated his BIOS everything worked normally.
