Need help identifying what type this hard drive is (laptop)

When taking it out, you didn't happen to rip off a black plastic piece? I did some research on the hard drive and the laptop and the only thing I am coming up with are regular sata connectors for this hard drive, but that is obviously not the case. The only solution that I can see right now is...

Need a 6 Pin connector for my GTX 950

I'm not sure if I understood correctly, but you are saying there are SATA cables connected to the motherboard but not powering anything? And you want to rig them to run in a 6 pin for your 950? If they aren't powering anything, it is more than possible. You said you knew a bit about power...

    Suggestion for my awkward resolution??

Hey so I am planning a new PC build and I want to have a 3440x1440 monitor underneath my 4k TV, and have both hooked up to my PC. I want to be able to game on the 4k TV, but that will be mostly for casual games. Otherwise, I will use it for maps and just a secondary monitor. Most of the intense...

    Help With An Upgrade

Yes, I would suggest the R7 240 but I think you could play with 35-45 FPS on medium settings.

Is my PSU enough for this graphics card ?

You should still consider upgrading your PSU first thing if you ever decide to do more upgrades, there are some great modular 80+ Gold rated power supplies that usually have 650-750 watts for under $70.

Is my PSU enough for this graphics card ?

I would say yes. The processor has a TDP of 95 watts, and the RAM and hard drive don't use up a whole lot, I would say that you have at least 180 if not 200 watts spare. The graphics card included (HD5450) uses a measly 19 watts, while the GT 740 you are looking at can consume 64 watts (not...

My newly built PC won't turn on

Do any of the lights on the motherboard light up? If not, you may not have properly connected the 24-pin. That is, of course, the most important cable to your system. Make sure that all of the pins line up to the ones on the motherboard connector. There should be a difference in shape so you can...

Which Cpu Is Better for Gaming

Sorry this is a little late response. Anyways, the 860k would fit your situation better. Basically anything from the Pentium side is for general use or gaming ONLY. That means no multitasking and probably not very good rendering/editing speeds. The Pentium has 2 cores less, and since you are...

    2 keyboards 1 PC

What are you doing boy? Anyways, from what I've read it seems possible. On some flight sim forums people use two keyboards at once (one for the control panel) and some are ps/2. You should go ahead and try it if you already have the keyboards. It won't blow anything up. **EDIT** I hope it...

i need help with 7.1 surround sound

Ok, first off, the Tritton Warhead headset is designed for the Xbox 360. I know it's possible to connect it to PC somehow, but I'm just putting that out there. Second, these are virtual 7.1 headsets. I am pretty sure that the surround sound is created by the headset, and you don't actually need...

Bought my first mechanical keyboard (corsair rbg) and it's loud...

Yeah, O-Rings will dampen the sound of the keyboard, but Brown switches aren't supposed to be loud. You may just be too used to rubber dome or maybe there is something wrong, but either way O-Rings can quiet it down. Be sure to have a key-puller (I think the K70 comes with one).
