ARAM mode is significantly more taxing to the system than Summoner's Rift, Twisted Treeline and Crystal Scar. It's a newer map with significantly more effects and visuals. Your best bet is to turn down the game settings when you play ARAM.

A prebuilt computer like Dell or HP has a locked-down BIOS and motherboard. Your CPU is capable, but the motherboard simply doesn't have the options to overclock, unfortunately.

Or you could take it a step further - and connect the refrigerator condenser to the cooling system ;) I recall reading someone that something similar back in the Athlon 64 days.

I for one would rather see innovations in material quality, innovative design or software improvements rather than an all-out spec war. Look where the spec war got us with consumer PCs. It is 2013 and we still have bulky towers stuffed with cheapest components in pursuit of margin. I for one...
