I think I will go with the 12100f but which mother board should I go with? These are some atx boards (10kr = 1 euro), I don't know how it is nowadays but are mini and micro boards as good as atx now? The mini and micro ones are cheaper by around 40-65€

I think I would set my budget at like under 270-300€ (I live in Sweden so things are expensive) the 12100F seems like a good choice since it's around 110€ and has a motherboard for around 90€ I don't really need anything too extreme 4 cores or more with equal or better than the i7 7700k's...

I have a i3 6100 (it's basically like a wired potato) the cooler is a tower cooler. Switching things is not a problem the thing is that apparently dropping 40-60 more € gives me a mobo+cpu that even beats my main computer

I was wondering if around 200€ for the I7 7700k is still worth it in 2023 since I have a motherboard that fits it. I'm not going to run it as a gaming cpu I just want to use it to run a couples of servers on a pc, anyways would it be better to buy it or change motherboard and cpu?
