Yeah so it turns out that the HDD is D.E.A.D. I found out by the clicking noise it was making. (if i could word out the noise it was like: szzzzzzzz..TK. chik. It was doing this the whole time it was running.) I'll make sure to get a new HDD next time. Thanks for the help guys!

TBH IDK. I don't think it's dead though. As mentioned previously the hard drive does run, it's just that it's not being recognized. I'll see if there's anything more I can do but if not I'll think of something

Theres another connector next to the typical SATA points but idk what it is. Its 2 pins

Can't try it on another machine. It says its refurbished on the drive. It doesn't even show up in the BIOS so I don't think its set as the first drive

Hello! I'm new to the site and I need some help from you guys. I recently built a pc and am trying to install Windows 10 on it. My main problem is that my hard drive is not being recognized by the UEFI. What's weird is that the hard drive is running but for some reason its not being recognized...
