Ok I'll go get some thermal paste. Do I need to do it on just the cpu our both the gpu and cpu. I went back to the last official amd driver and I stopped getting the frame rate drops and artifacts but gpu usage is still around 50%

The audio started having a crackle through the HDMI from the GPU. Could this be something caused by the graphics card or the on-board audio through the mobo?

Building a PC is simple for the most part. If the guy is going to charge you for it I would say take that money and invest in a better GPU. If your going for a strictly gaming rig the CPU won't matter as much as the GPU. say you were to get an intel I7 and a HD 7555 or for the same price an AMD...

Never got to try because the card would get to hot and shut down ended up RMA to Newegg. If you get a working 7870LE they have great performance but from what I've read the overheating is a common problem. Thanks for all the help

Yeah the arrow and the blue circle. The HDD usage graph looks like a heartbeat monitor. It will go to 100% then down to 20% and back up for about 1 or 2 min after opening something then it stables out at 20% untill I do something again
