:giggle: that is odd, boot option for anything else than uefi was grayed out, but i found a different menu and changed to CMS, now all of the sudden it works. why did it work with uefi on 2400g or why did it change when i changed the cpu? thanks!

yes, after a while just to be sure i took the battery out, shorted the pins. next boot it showed all the settings etc like it did the first boot around, then it went into bios loop again. it also shows my drives in bios.
