    It sounds like exactly what it said. Your onboard bios got corrupted. Fortunately, Gigabyte has a builtin backup bios feature that it restored from that resolved the issue for your instantly, or else you would have had a lot more problems.

    Looks like my problem was in large part due to running some sloppy timings on my memory that was degrading the performance of my whole machine, thus when the iGPU tried to function at a high level my screen started flashing. After changing my memory profile from manual to XMP things are running...

    I'm actually running linux. For you, since the processor is in theory the same as the iGPU, wouldn't the resource monitor you're opening to monitor graphics use be superfluous? Like wouldn't just normal monitoring of your task manager of your normal cpu give you the same output?

    Have a z87-k and have noticed when load starts getting higher that letters on my screen will just start bleeding into each other as I scroll. Other times the screen will flick off and on. I've set my memory on the iGPU options to the highest setting 1024MB. Anyone else notice issues like this...

    Is built-in RAID on motherboards cross compatible across manufacturers?

    Yest RAID is a standard but I just want to make sure that the manufacturers implementation of bios raid is standardized. Can I just plug-and-play my raid 10 from my Asus motherboard to an Asrock upgrade? Thanks in advance to anyone that can shed some light on this issue for me.
