So from what i can understand is that i should place the 2 120mm fans on their open side facing the CPU in order for the them to absorb and the heat and expel them from the top right? It'll also suck the heat out of the circuit board from the GPU theoretically right?

Yeah i found out shortly after posting this that i didn't connect the SATA cable to the optical drive..silly me,but thanks anyways the PC is working fine.

Hey guys,i just build my first pc and turned it and it works great,so i went into the the BIOS of my Asus Z97 MOBO to check the stuff and i can't seem to boot my windows 8.1 Disc in the optical drive,it just sends me back to the bios when i save and exit,please,can anyone help me out?

I think the other person might be right about your problem.

The motherboard isn't really affected by games because it's just holding the components and for sound,but if it stays at a 85C constantly,you'd need some help to know what is exactly wrong with it otherwise it will get damaged eventually,i'm not an expert at these things,just a normal consumer...

That is still pretty dangerous,i'd advice getting a professional to take a look at it and tell you exactly what's wrong.

I think your problem would be with not upgrading your motherboard or either you're using up to date components on the aged MOBO,hope this helps.
