Just did. it has 2 options default 2400mhz called "profile 1" 3000MHZ now how can i know if its good or should i cancel it

Hi my machine is: i5-9600K NOT OC /GB z390 GAMING X/ 8GB teamgroup DDR4 3000MHz memory. I know i can change the memory to 3000MHz but is this unstable or shorting it's life? i don't to overclock if it's more than the hardware can take. thanks
