You are not running CPU intensive games and apps. Also GPU take some of the load. I have the same CPU. Wanna see CPU at 100% for all 4 cores? Run Prime95.

You can use your windows 7 disc with win 7 pro key. All windows 7 DVDs contain all the versions. Win 7 version installation depends on the version the key has.

You can and you should use SSD in your computer. Ideally SSD is best as boot drive. SSD as an external drive is waste of money since you are not taking the advantages of the features it gives. Anyway that is my opinion.

Best solution is to build a desktop with i5 or AMD equivalent. With desktop you can always upgrade any part. Upgrading laptop the way you described is terrible idea. Basically you killed the mobility feature of a laptop. On the side note, I hope English is not you native language....
