Question DisplayPort Cable stuck inside monitor and GPU

I haven't tried these suggestions yet, but I have a feeling they won't work. The other end of my DisplayPort cable that is attached to my monitor is also stuck and also has a button that won't press inward. Therefore, I don't think it's a problem with the seating of the GPU, case, etc., but...

Question DisplayPort Cable stuck inside monitor and GPU

Thanks for the comment. I'll try this out. Although, the GPU brackets were aligned and screwed in a manner that was seemingly the only way possible.

Thanks for the reply! Could you please elaborate on this? I'm a bit confused regarding your first two sentences and don't quite follow.

Question DisplayPort Cable stuck inside monitor and GPU

Question Monitor registers signal sometimes, but other times says "Displayport - No Signal".

Yeah, it must be an internal defect. The button is not moving at all even if I press it insanely hard. I could use HDMI, but I'll need to remove the DisplayPort cable eventually (moving to new apartment soon, etc.).

Question Monitor registers signal sometimes, but other times says "Displayport - No Signal".

Thanks for the reply! I have both cables connected to try to troubleshoot. Clearly I am a n00b. I've read conflicting things on disabling integrated graphics. What do you recommend? If I am unable to press the buttons on the DisplayPort cables to remove them, do you have any suggestions? I...

Question Monitor registers signal sometimes, but other times says "Displayport - No Signal".

~25% of the time, my PC boots fine and shows a signal on my monitor (Gigabyte M32UC). The other ~75% of the time, the monitor does not detect a signal and I need to power the PC off and on multiple times, even so far as unplugging the PSU from the outlet and plugging back in (multiple times...
