[SOLVED] Fortnite Lag Spikes And Low FPS RX 580

I will definitely do that. I also want to point out that I noticed when I changed my graphics, there is no fps change. I know that this is a sign of a bottleneck, but my CPU is relatively good in comparison with the RX 580.

[SOLVED] Fortnite Lag Spikes And Low FPS RX 580

Hello, Fortnite is almost unplayable because of heavy lag spikes and low fps. I have an RX 580 and in the benchmark videos, they are getting 200+ FPS with all low settings. I am getting 100 FPS with lag spikes down to 10. I recently reapplied thermal paste for my GPU and solved the overheating...

Question RX 580 High Temperatures At Full Fan Speed

Thank you so much, I replaced the thermal paste and I saw a 20-degree temperature drop. That sucker barely had any thermal paste on it. Thanks again!

Question RX 580 High Temperatures At Full Fan Speed

Hello, my RX 580 is overheating. I get 85+ celsius with full fan speed; and it will even cross 90 sometimes. I believe this causes lag spikes and low fps in games. I have used canned air many times to clean out dust from the GPU, and am a bit nervous about taking the whole thing apart and...

[SOLVED] Why is my monitor shutting off on it's own?

Update: The problem seems to be fixed because it hasn't happened for a while. I cleaned out the dust of the GPU and set a custom fan curve. The problem also could have been AMD drivers because it hasn't happened ever since I updated to the new one. The only thing is that the GPU still reaches...

[SOLVED] Why is my monitor shutting off on it's own?

Hey all, I was playing a game and realized that my GPU temperatures were at 85+. I must have made a mistake when I last checked them. This explains the horrible lag spikes in games though. Could this have anything to do with the problem with the monitor? Also, I took one side off the case of...

[SOLVED] Why is my monitor shutting off on it's own?

I have cleaned it a little with canned air if that counts, I'm afraid I might mess something up if I take it apart too much. I'm not very knowledgable about computers.

[SOLVED] Why is my monitor shutting off on it's own?

The GPU fans are at around 300MHZ no matter what I do.

[SOLVED] Why is my monitor shutting off on it's own?

Yes, you were right, the GPU fans will spin then stop completely. It does this over and over again. It seems as if they only do it when the PC is using low power since they are doing fine in games but not when just browsing the internet. I might be wrong though.

[SOLVED] Why is my monitor shutting off on it's own?

The PC isn't sitting on a thick carpet so I think that's not the problem.

[SOLVED] Why is my monitor shutting off on it's own?

I just looked and my PSU fan is down as well as the PSU being located at the bottom of the case. And I don't know if this is important but my desktop is on the ground. Not on the actual desk.

[SOLVED] Why is my monitor shutting off on it's own?

Sorry for the late reply. The PSU is in the bottom of the case, I don't know whether or not the fan is up or down; I have to check. If nothing works, i'll try to buy a PSU. I was hoping I could buy one that I could return if it doesn't work but that's almost impossible due to the crisis right now.

[SOLVED] Why is my monitor shutting off on it's own?

The temps seem normal though. I did have overheating issues in the past with the cpu, but that's fixed.

[SOLVED] Why is my monitor shutting off on it's own?

My temps seem fine, around 50-60 for both. I did add ram, the PC had 8GB before and I changed it to 16GB. I did also upgrade the cpu. I actually don't have any drivers for the motherboard since I couldn't figure out how to download them.
