Thanks gentlemen for your input ! I have a limited net bandwidth connection cause I live in the sticks, just did the "Creative" WIN10 update and it took all night just to download the whole thing :(. I have a current image of my HDD, maybe I will just try to swap them out and reload the image...

Replace HDD with SDD on laptop

Hi, not sure of the best and easiest way to replace my HDD with a SSD on a Sager laptop, it has only one place for one storage device. I have an external passport I do saves on that has plenty of room if needed. Any suggestions before I buy one would be great. Thanks in advance for any help...

    New build HELP.......

Hi, just put a new build together and it will not even POST. Very low end, G4560, B250M Gigabyte MB. I am guessing the MB but perhaps your advice could tell me for sure. Right now the only thing plugged in is 1 stick of RAM and HDD. When I power it up the fans come on and it runs for about 3...

Samsung Evo 250gb or Samsung Pro 128gb

Sure, get the 250 EVO as that's where the smart money would go with double the capacity and difference in performance you would only see in benchmarks, higher capacity drives also run faster than lower ones, that would bring them even closer together.

    Computer Build Comparison?

I would go as far as to say if you sat down on 2 identical machines one with EVO and the other with PRO I bet $100 you would not be able to tell me which was which after 2 hours on each. Same could be said between an I5 and i7 in gaming, you would not be able to notice any difference, PCIe 3.0...

    Computer Build Comparison?

I don't really buy used parts but there is nothing wrong with looking for good deals. Not sure how the warranties would work, and of course their is always a question about how good the part is your getting, worth looking into I guess. If I had the money and planned on having something for a...

    Computer Build Comparison?

"Alright, I'll go ahead and take a look at those soon. Surprised that DDR4 RAM is so cheap now, and motherboards that support it are too. Last I had checked DDR4 and the board and chipset that supported it were quite expensive. How much of an actual improvement if you don't mind me asking is...

    Compatible RAM Help

Tradesman knows his memory so I would follow his advice about upgrading your rig to 8GB. I could not find a 8GB kit of DDR2 in 1066, just some 2GB kits. Also it would be good to stick with a solid brand, Mushkin makes quality memory products, I have never heard of Komputerbay, not saying they...
