I have noticed when I play Dark Souls I and Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning that my FPS will drop to near nonexistence when I hit an enemy with an attack. I generally run around 60 FPS, but during these drops the screen will move at 1 FPS if I am lucky, but will often just freeze for 2-3 seconds...
