    I5 2500k with all 4 cores at 90%

Wow, thank you everyone so much for the quick responses. As for the temps, I've never hit over 55c doing anything so I know that's fine. Thank you all!

    I5 2500k with all 4 cores at 90%

I've only had this processor for about 3 months so I don't really know if this is normal. While rendering HD videos in Sony Vegas Pro 10, is it normal for all of the cores to be running between 90 and 95%? According to the Intel CPU Usage Desktop Widget for Windows 7. Any help is very much...

    RAM placement on a ASrock P67 extreme4

Haha ok the two different answers confused me. I was hoping that would go in 2 and 4 because of the size of my CPU cooler (Cooler Master Hyper 212+ with 2 fans)

    RAM placement on a ASrock P67 extreme4

I know that there is supposed to be certain RAM placement and it is different on every board. I, however can not find it in the manual anywhere. All I know is that it has to be in slots 1 and 3 or 2 and 4 to take advantage of the dual channel memory. If It doesn't say anywhere in the manual...

    My first new build

You could save ~$100 and get an i5 2500k, you really don't know need an i7 2600k.

Is this gaming rig worth the price?

It isn't necessarily faster, it really only includes Hyper threading. Hyperthreading really only helps in VFX, 3D Modeling, or other extremely strenuous programs. It's also ~$100 more expensive which is money where you could spend on other things for your PC.

Is this gaming rig worth the price?

IMO the 6gig/s hasn't affected me that much. The difference will only be in seconds. I recomend this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152185&cm_re=samsung_f3-_-22-152-185-_-Product (It's what I'm using right now)

    Umm questions about system

Alright then if you don't plan on overclocking, just get the i5 2500 (don't get the "k" version.) Also, you won't need an after market heatsink (on my list its the Cooler Master Hyper 212+) the stock cooler is enough to cool your CPU.

Is this gaming rig worth the price?

I agree with genghis, the only thing the i7 2600k gives you is hyperthreading. You can buy a HDD like that for around $60. I'd look at the Cooler Master Hyper 212+ for the heatsink for about $30. Finally, you don't need 1866 speed RAM, it is basically no difference. Get any 1600 speed for...

    Umm questions about system

Ok well the 6950 or the 560 ti are both very good for gaming. Also you do not need sata cables, they come with all motherboards. Lastly, are you going to overclock?

    Umm questions about system

What do you want to do with this computer? For starters, you have a lot of deactivated items on your list. (PSU and Video Card) Also, your Power Supply is waaay too powerful, you could use a 750W and that would even be overkill. If your price range is $1200 than you could do this: Cooler...

    6950 vs. 560 ti

Yes I do have the money but the CCC is so bad. I just need to decide whether I want the better card with bad, unoptimized drivers. Or a little worse card with very good drivers. Also, @dwarf10 like I said in the original post, I will not be unlocking this 6950 to 6970 speeds...
