    Looking to Upgrade, Perhaps RAM?

Hello fellow hardwarriors, I'm just checking to see if my intuition is right. I'm toying with the idea of upgrading my setup. I've been playing some intensive games and streaming lately and have found the results in each to be playable, but lackluster. I currently run an i5-4690k with 8GB of...

CPU, RAM, or other upgrade? What first?

Hello fellow hardware geeks, I am currently using my pc a lot and I love it to bits. Recently I have started to play some games and livestream them. Some games are giving me troubles and it isn't bitrate or network issues on my end in the slightest. My current rig holds an Nvidia GTX 970, an...

    Budget build for a friend

I don't think a chipset that gives the same if not better performance than some Intel processor that was just released can be considered "dead". If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Pretty clear with the FX 8350.

    Budget build for a friend

Alright. So this is what I think looks good for the price-point stated. It does go about 15 dollars over budget, however I assure you it is 15 dollars well spent! PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor ($164.99 @ NCIX US) Motherboard...

What temps shall i expect with the Corsair H100i Hydro ?

If you overclock it correctly and you get a cooler that is generally good (meaning Corsair doesn't send you a crap product) I have read that it may not go above 70 degrees C. Although I have seen a few consumers saying that they had a flawed product, going above 80 and 90 C. Honestly, 70 degrees...

What is the essential equipment needed for starting a YouTube channel?

First off have a decent computer, if not, take a look at this build I have that will run most graphically intensive games at a steady 50 maybe 60 frames per second:PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($199.99 @ Micro Center)...

Building an Intel powered gaming PC

Welcome to the forum, my first suggestion is if you want to spend more money, you could snag this: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/4vbpD3 Or if you don't want to spend so much you can choose a lower graphics card and/or CPU. I am pretty confident in this build and it could easily play all your games...

    Case Modding Thread

Hey guys. I have this old PC case that just sits around and I want to do something with it. I would want to use it for an awesome build that I plan to save for and make sometime, but there is a problem. The case is out of date and just all together doesn't look appealing. To me it looks like it...
