I would say yes. I'm currently rocking a GTX 970 at 1080p 60Hz and I can confirm it's very good at this kind of res and more than sufficient. Despite the memory problem, the GTX 970 is still a great card. I would recommend it. Also using the MSI Gaming variant and I love it.
