I have recently gone through 3 processors, and none of them have worked. I really need to upgrade my processor and I have seen a couple articles saying that the fastest CPU that I can run with my dell dxp061 MOBO is the core 2 duo E6700. Is this true? If it is, I will definatley be purchasing...

I have an old Dell Dxp061 MOBO and the processor that I purchased and put in is an Intel E8400 Core 2 Duo Processor 3 GHz 6 MB Cache.

I reveived the processor that I purchased, I installed it and started up the computer. Nothing happens. I would really like some help to see if I am doing something wrong or if I just got a bad Processor. Thanks!

I have an old dell dxp 061 motherboard and i am looking for a new processor. I just need to know if my motherboard has an Am2 socket because this processor i am looking at has one. If it doesn't what processor would you reccomend ifor me?

I am running an Intel core 2 CPU 1.86 GHz as of right now.

Someone has just told me that the processor that i was going to get is not compatible with my motherboard. It is a Dell dxp061. I would like to know what processors are compatibe with my motherboard, and are there any that would be at least 3.0GHz and 4mb cache. Thanks!

So I am in need of a new processor, and my motherboard is a Dell DPX061 and all I need to know is if the "AMD Phenom ll X4 965 3.4 GHz" processor is compatible with my motherboard. If you can answer this for me that would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks! :D -Eric
