Yeah well, I'll sleep over it. I am on a tight budget atm, as I bought a new gpu and some pc peripherals. Thanks for the help and tips though guys! :)

    Next recommended upgrade?

Yeah I'm in a big dilemma now, can't make my mind and pick a thing. Thought there's no game that uses more than 4 cores? If it's true, aren't the extra cores kinda useless, unless you're running a lot of stuff in the background?

Found this http://bit.ly/1HSdO6t CPU and good reviews about it. People say they OC it to 4,4 GHz with the stock cooler, but it overheats during intense gaming, so I suppose my Evo 212 would do the job. It's FM2+ so I think my mobo supports it, as to the FX one it's AM3+, not sure my mobo...

Getting grainy moving lines in display

I can't promise you that. My issue might not be the same you have. That's why I told you to ask that shop to borrow hdmi to vga adapter for testing. I'm in a small town and I know all the shop owners so one gave me the adapter for testing before I bought it. But yes, it did fix the issue. Do I...

Aye, just read about it, didn't have a clue they have to be water cooled. So http://bit.ly/1iv0C9b as CPU would fit on the mentioned mobo you say?

Getting grainy moving lines in display

It could be anything really... A faulty board, gpu, vga cable, too old vga monitor with a new gpu combo, electronic devices near it. I myself have a really old BenQ vga monitor and an R7 370 4 GB GPU, it was either buying a new monitor or a 22 euro adapter. Adapter solved it for me and I also...

Getting grainy moving lines in display

Could always ask in the same store about the issue and if they have the adapter I mentioned to borrow you for a test. It could be poor signal from a high end GPU to an old monitor, which the adapter can help resolve.

Self-built PC does not power on.

If the mobo has integrated graphics, try removing yours or just unplug the power cables. Try booting with just 1 ram stick, try another ram stick after that if it doesn't work. Also try removing your CMOS battery for 10 minutes, rub it with a piece of cloth before you put it back in.

Self-built PC does not power on.

Let's start with the "stupid" questions. Did you maybe plug your monitor cable in your mobo instead gpu or vice versa if no gpu?

Try borrowing a HDMI to VGA cable, I had that issue and nothing helped except for that adapter. It was 23 euros where I live. Also the con of that adapter is that you'd need a USB slot for the adapter to charge itself, permanently.

Yeah, as I said earlier, I'm actually talking to a friend from the UK to start shipping me some PC parts to re-sell. I think even with paying taxes on the border control, I'll still profit from it, but not all packages will be checked, so somewhere more, somewhere less. The prices are insanely...

    Next recommended upgrade?

I think I'll go for this, just need to check if the mobo is compatible with everything. Those prices are from an overpriced shop, but I can get it cheaper (everything just looks nicer on this site and even you can read it even though it's not on English) and can pay over 12 months without the...

OC on Athlon x4 860K, 4,4- 4,3 GHZ temp question

Having slight to no knowledge about OC, I think your temps are fine. I OC my Phenom II x4 940 just a bit up, from 3GHz to 3,4 and the temp didn't even change. My temp is like 32-35c on idle, doesnt go over 48 under full load (gaming), never stress tested it though. Hyper Evo 212 cooler. Maximum...

Yeah, thanks for the suggestions though. I managed to safely overclock mine to 3,4 GHz for now. Gonna monitor it for a day and go up to 3,8 as many people say it's possible to do with an aftermarket cooler. It's good that you suggested me these, because if the prices drop or they do some sales...

    Next recommended upgrade?

Didn't know that. The CPU you recommended is like 265 usd here, which is quite over what I planned to spend as I want to be able to upgrade other parts soon as well. The CPU alone is more expensive than all 3 components you suggested. Is that CPU you linked new or used? Found this AMD Athlon™ X4...
